オフェンスMVP  ★新人TE#85 ホールデン・ハフ

First I would like to say thank you to the coaches who voted me the MVP of the last game against the Fujitsu Frontiers. Anyone could have been picked for the MVP, every man on that field played hard and played well. While I appreciate the award, I am in no way satisfied with the level I am currently at. I know that we as a team are not satisfied with our level either, and we will continue to get better everyday. This is team sport and we can do nothing without the people next to us. That being said, I would like to say thank you to my teammates, it is a lot of fun playing with guys who love the game and love to win.

Last and most important I want to say thank you to the fans. I hope that you love watching the games as much as we love having you there. Every Seagulls’ fan I have met has treated me with the upmost respect and it is an honor to play for them. 

As for the Fujitsu Frontiers, I have the upmost respect for the organization. They played hard until the final whistle. With a couple different plays going their way, it could be an entirely different game. We as a team are excited for our next game against the Frontiers because they feel the same fire for the game as we do. It is easy to feel the level of passion a team has for the game once you play against them. They are a disciplined and well coached team and it was a lot of fun to be up against a team of that caliber. 

While the team felt a lot of pride winning the last game, we are focused on the future. The Lixil Deers are our focus from here on. I know that the Deers will be ready to play. I have watched tape and seen their defense operate, and I know that we will need to have 100% focus every snap in order to compete.  ありがとうございます！

まずコーチたちに感謝したい。選手皆がよくやりました。受賞はうれしいですが、今の自分のレベルには満足していません。チームとしても自分たちのレベルに満足していませんし、日々よくなっていきます。チームスポーツはチームメートなしには何もできません。感謝していますし、試合が好きで勝つことが好きな選手たちとプレーするのは本当に楽しい。そして最も大事なことですが、ファンの皆さんにありがとうと言いたいです。試合を見ることを楽しんでほしい。皆さんのためにプレーできて光栄です。私は富士通をたいへんリスペクトしています。彼らは最後まで必死でプレーしました。いくつかのプレーが彼らの思うようにいけば、まったく違った試合になったでしょう。彼らも次に向けて燃えていると思いますし、私たちも富士通との次の試合を楽しみにしています。一度戦うと、試合にかける情熱がわかります。よく鍛えられたチームと戦うのはとても楽しかったです。私たちは勝って誇らしく思ったけれど、未来にフォーカスしています。ここからはLIXILディアーズ戦に集中します。ディアーズも準備しているでしょう。私はビデオで彼らのディフェンスの動きを見ました。すべてのスナップに100%集中して戦います。ありがとうございます！

【選出理由】 TDシリーズでの3rdダウン残り10ヤードからの31ヤードパスキャッチや、持ち前のフィジカルを活かした4回のビックブロック＆フィニッシュなど、躍動感あふれるプレーでオフェンスを引っ張り、チームの勝利に大きく貢献した。（★MVP初受賞）

ディフェンスMVP  ★新人DB#21 ブロンソン・ビーティー

I am proud to be MVP, but I could not have done it without my teammates and coaches. To be successful in football we need to play as a team. I’m excited for this year and will do my best to get Obic back to the best team in Japan. 

MVPを誇りに思います。チームメートとコーチのおかげです。フットボールで成功するには、チームとしてプレーする必要があります。オービックシーガルズが今年再び日本一になることが楽しみですし、そのためにベストを尽くします。

【選出理由】 この試合のリーディングタックラー。第4Qでの4thダウンストップなど、終始広い守備範囲を発揮し続けた。なかでも、第2Qのエンドゾーンまで1ヤードでのファンブルフォース。あのシリーズをFGに抑えられたのは大きかった。（★MVP初受賞）

キッキングMVP  DB #24 島津慶丞

いつも参戦ありがとうございます。負け続けていた富士通に勝利できたこと、個人としてはMVPを獲得できたことをたいへんうれしく思っています。

次の準決勝は、3年続けてLIXILとの対戦になります。昨年は勝っていますが、2016年は終盤のキッキングで敗れました。今度はオフェンス、ディフェンスだけでなく、キッキングでも圧倒して勝利します！ 個人的には、キッキング、ディフェンスともに活躍できるよう、しっかりと準備して臨みたいと思います。

【選出理由】 前半終了間際、相手の反撃の芽を摘んだ値千金のFGブロック。スピードとキレのあるラッシュで相手の走路をなくす見事なキックカバーなど、試合を通して常にハツラツとしたプレーで勝利に貢献した。
